Tobaggan run
Covering a distance of 3.5 kilometres and an altitude of 250 metres, the tobaggan run is guaranteed to get your heart racing.
The funicular brings the sledders from the Titlis Valley station to the starting point of the toboggan run located on the Gerschnialp. There is tobaggan day pass available. Once at the top, you grab a fast toboggan, which can be rented down at the station along with the purchase of the train ticket, or sit on the sled you brought yourself. Who has the best technique and makes it to the valley the fastest?
The 3.5-kilometer-long toboggan run leads through the snow-covered Gerschni forest in long curves back to the starting point at the Titlis valley station.
With each time you take the curves even more courageously and let the sled run. The tobogganing day ticket offers tobogganing fun until the last ascent of the funicular and also includes a return trip to the Trübsee station.
For hungry stomachs we recommend the trip with the last mountain ride at 5.10 p.m. followed by a fondue or another delicious dinner with us at the Gasthaus Gerschnialp. Afterwards we will go down to the valley by toboggan.Last descent by toboggan is at 21.30.
Tip: Night sledding turns night into day: every Friday and Saturday evening (from around Christmas until the beginning of March), a very special sledding experience awaits sledding fans. Night sledding by torchlight, fun for young and old.
